Saturday at Trentham
Race 9: Platinum Attack
5.14pm
“We know 1400 metres is a bit of a stretch for him and now, with the outside draw, waiting for a 1200 metre race at Otaki in two weeks time may be a better option for him. This is a strong field and the ones to beat have all drawn in, making it a pretty big ask. I’ll make a decision on race morning after seeing what horses are running and if there will be enough speed for him to be able to get over the top of them.”
