Thursday at Awapuni (synthetic)
Race 2: Lincoln Towers
1.17pm
“It was a great win last start and he has grown in confidence since then. He is looking an absolute picture and his work has been fantastic. It’s only a small field so it could be a niggly-run race but, from four, he should be able to position up just in behind the leaders and hopefully run them down late. Masa Hashizume rides.”

Friday at Riccarton (synthetic)
Race 6: Lincoln’s Kruz
2.45pm
“He has settled into the stable down there really nicely and has been eating up well. He’s been going really good races on the synthetic and the trip south usually sparks him up. Unfortunately he has drawn wide in eight but we will look to ride him where he is happy and hopefully he can win to qualify for the $100k race on August 7. Leading South Island apprentice Yogesh Atchamah rides and claims 3kg down to 60kg.”
