Our runners this week: How our trainers rate them

Lisa’s comments
Saturday at Riccarton
Race 6: Platinum Attack
2.59pm
Update: Late scratched
“He gets in with such a lovely weight of 53kg and has drawn nicely at five which should allow Craig Grylls to sit one off the fence and get out to centre track like he did last week. He has come through his win in super fashion and I couldn’t be happier with him. With the weight he is carrying on Saturday you would think he will be extremely hard to beat.”

Lisa’s comments
Waipukurau on Sunday
Race 1: Platinum Tyche
12.05pm
“She has drawn the outside but I don’t think this will be a bad thing after what happened last start when she drew one and fell. At least from here she will be able to roll forward and Mereana Hudson can put her in a prominent position out of trouble. It is obviously a big ask going from 1400 metres to a mile, where she didn’t really have a run, then up to 2100 metres but she has had a couple of decent gallops to prepare. In what doesn’t look to be an overly strong field we should get a good line on her.”
